About Admond Fong

Before working in the health care industry, Admond's first exposure to working with seniors was as a care giver for his own grandfather. Not only was he acting as translator for his grandfather's many doctor visits, but was also an active participant in educating the family with decision options. Two valuable insights he learned through this journey was the importance of communication and planning. Communication needs to be an open dialogue with all vested parties: senior loved one, doctors, and family members. There may be times where the subject matter may be difficult to discuss, but bringing those topics to the table will make the planning process much easier.

Admond's health and senior care experience first started while working in the California State Assembly office handling senior and health care issues. It was at this job where he saw first hand, the lack of knowledge and the difficulty in finding senior care resources. Even navigating from within the state's resources required multiple phone calls to different departments to get the right answers. In Admond's most recent position as a manager of a home health care company, he also saw the similar issues for his own clients. Once people were getting home health care services, they also inquired about other resources or assistance for senior care. These experiences naturally gravitated to him creating the Senior Providers Network.

The Senior Providers Network is an employer benefit dedicated to helping employees with their senior care issues. The current problem by employers is that they are losing over $33 billion in productivity annually due to employees needing to take time off to care for their aging loved one. Senior Providers Network is the resource that will significantly reduce the time an employee will need to take while also ensuring the right type of services are in place for their senior loved one.
